The Whiterock Community House is a welcoming place where residents and the wider community can meet, take part in activities and build meaningful local connections.
Located at the heart of Whiterock, it hosts a changing program of social, wellbeing, fitness, family and community activities for people of different ages, interests and abilities. From children’s programs and parent groups to workshops, exercise sessions and opportunities for older residents to connect, there is always something new to discover.
The Community House also creates space for local groups, facilitators and community organisations to share their skills, host activities and bring people together around common interests. As the program continues to grow, it provides residents with more opportunities to participate, contribute and feel connected to the life of the community.
More than a community facility, the Community House is a place where neighbours can get to know one another, new friendships can form and shared experiences can become part of everyday life at Whiterock.

FMAES has launched a practical multicultural family food program focused on health cooking, budgeting and community connection. Families will learn simple low-cost recipes, reduce food waste and share food and culture in a welcoming community environment.
What participants will learn:
- healthy low-cost cooking
- Budget friendly meal planning
- Reducing food waste
- Hands-on cooking skills
- Connecting with other families and communities
